A few years ago, I had never heard of remote jobs, freelancing, or working from home. Coming from a background with little exposure to the digital world, I believed life was simply about waking up, going to work, coming home, and repeating the same routine. At the time, I had also paused my education because I couldn’t afford to continue, so my focus was on earning enough to survive.

Everything changed when I came across a video of someone sharing how they had earned $2,000 online. Curious, I began researching digital skills, but every option seemed too difficult, and I doubted myself. Then a friend introduced me to Virtual Assistance, and I decided to take a chance.

I started learning with only my phone because I didn’t own a laptop. With consistency and determination, I built my career, bought my first laptop, and later expanded into Data Analytics.

That journey inspired me to create VSE Africa—a place where anyone, regardless of their background or financial situation, can access affordable digital skills training and discover what’s possible. My hope is that every learner who joins us realizes one simple truth:
